Aurobindo has partnered with US based Covaxx for the first-ever peptide-based COVID-19 vaccine for the Indian market. While Dr Reddy’s has filed for favipiravir in Canada, Cipla has launched its second antigen detection test kit in India. And the Serum Institute of India will be providing Bangladesh with Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine doses via Beximco

Aurobindo Pharma Limited has struck an exclusive agreement with Covaxx, a US based company developing a multitope peptide-based vaccine, UB-612, for COVID-19. Under the agreement, Aurobindo has exclusive rights to develop, manufacture and commercialize UB-612 in India and to the United Nations Children's Fund as well as non-exclusive rights in other select emerging markets.
