India’s Biocon Limited has struck another deal for a GLP-1 agonist in Latin America, signing a “semi-exclusive distribution and supply deal” with Mexican firm Medix for local rights to commercialize Biocon’s generic version of Saxenda (liraglutide).
Liraglutide – which is also sold as Victoza – is used in the treatment of chronic weight management.
