Istituto di Certificazione Italiano per la Meccanica (ICIM) is the most recent body appointed under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR). It is based in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan, in the north of Italy.
It was previously designated under the Medical Devices Directive, but its scope excluded class III devices and hyperbaric chambers.
