Cluster platform’s vision process for local medtechs about to go into practice

German medtech cluster initiative MedicalMountains has spent the past two years developing the basis for a roadmap designed to serve medtechs on their growth paths in the years ahead. 2023 will see the resulting ‘vision process’ come alive.

MedicalMountains GmbH, a service provider based in Tuttlingen, south-western Germany, is located in a rich and dense region for medtech innovation. The area is reportedly home to the largest medtech cluster in Europe, with 400 medtech companies employing 8,000 staff. Over 90% of them are SMEs. Add distributors and service companies into the mix, and the total rises to 13,000 staff.
