In August 2022, NICE made its first EVA draft decision. AliveCor’s KardiaMobile 6L, a portable ECG that wirelessly records and transmits data, was recommended for monitoring heart changes in individuals taking antipsychotic medications.MT145716

In November 2022, the HTA body issued similar positive EVA guidance for the reimbursement of five digital mental health apps for children with low mood and anxiety.MT146020

On 8 February 2023, this initial draft guidance for the five digital mental health apps was finalized. One of the apps, ThinkNinja CBT Bytesize (Healios), was dropped from NICE’s recommendation for funding, with four now backed for reimbursement under the EVA.
